Why work with someone local

  • Connecticut details handled. Secretary of the State filings, CT DRS registrations on myconneCT, CT Department of Labor unemployment registration and CT Paid Leave are all part of getting set up here.
  • Town-level deadlines. Businesses that own furniture, fixtures or equipment file a personal property declaration with their town assessor by November 1 each year. We put it on your calendar.
  • One person who knows your setup. The same person who built your banking, books and payroll answers your questions and prepares your return.
  • Licensed for health coverage. Andrew holds a Connecticut health insurance license, so the Full Launch health benefits review comes from a licensed agent.

Frequently asked questions

How much does it cost to form an LLC in Connecticut?

The Connecticut Secretary of the State charges $120 to file a Certificate of Organization online at business.ct.gov. After that, every LLC files an annual report for $80 between January 1 and March 31, starting the year after it forms. An EIN from the IRS is free.

What's the difference between Launch Essentials and Full Launch?

Launch Essentials ($349) sets up a business bank account (Relay), bookkeeping in QuickBooks Online and professional email with Google Workspace. Full Launch ($599) includes all of that plus Gusto payroll, a business spend card and a health benefits review.

Do I pay for the software through Enhance Finance?

No. You pay each software provider directly for your own subscription, so the accounts are always in your name. Our fee covers the setup work and direct access to Andrew for questions.

How much does a tax return cost?

Tax returns start at $350. The final price depends on what your return involves. Book a free intro call and we'll give you a quote up front.

Do I need a Connecticut sales tax permit?

You need one from the CT Department of Revenue Services if you sell, rent or lease goods or sell taxable services in Connecticut. The permit costs $100. Whether your service is taxable depends on what you sell, so we check it with you during setup.

Do you only work with businesses in Danbury?

We focus on the greater Danbury area, including Bethel, Brookfield, New Fairfield, Ridgefield and New Milford. If your business is somewhere else in Connecticut, book a call and ask.
